A Legend Passes – Larry Norman

Christian music pioneer Larry Norman has died at the age of 60. Norman is often credited as Christian music’s first rocker. (Remember – he wrote the song – “Why should the devil have all the good music.”) He released a string of albums dating back to the late ‘60s that not only influenced contemporary Christian artists, but were also cited as major influences on mainstream bands including the Pixies. Entertainment Weekly has posted a tribute to Norman that reflects on his career, his faith and the impact he made on the music industry. CCM Magazine.com also has a post which include some of his last words. Truly he lived his faith in a way that should challenge us all to missionally reflect Jesus in our area of influence.
